Editing Process

The editing process is fairly simple from your end. When you contact me with your editing needs I will ask you for the genre and length of your document. Once you have disclosed this information I can provide you with a time frame and estimate of cost.

The next step will be for you to submit your document to me for editing. I will review, ask any necessary questions, and edit accordingly.

Once the document has been edited I will send it back for your review. I will give you the opportunity to accept or reject my changes and send it back to me for a final review. The final review is included in the quote and you will not be charged extra for this service. I provide this extra step because I want to make sure you are happy with your document and it meets your expectations.


When you submit your document, please include your expectations. If you require formatting, color, page length, or any other details please make them known from the beginning.


Each area of study and genre possess different expectations for formatting. If you need the document formatted in a specific way, such as APA or MLA, please include those specifications or inform me where I can locate them.

Editing Software

I normally edit in Microsoft Word. I have both the 2003 and 2007 versions, and will commonly edit in 2007 unless otherwise requested. I can also provide your document in PDF at no additional charge.
